Newsletters are expensive
The average newsletter is $8 per month. That’s half a Netflix subscription for four to six articles a month. Granted this is not comparable as newsletters are about professional development but even so, a lot of people are at the limit of their newsletter budgets.
It’s also not a great feeling to have to keep paying for access to the archives. It’s like paying for a book and then having to pay again to read it again.
